Erasmus Plus jest programem dla uczelni, ich studentów i pracowników. Wspiera międzynarodową współpracę szkół wyższych, umożliwia wyjazdy studentów za granicę na część studiów i praktykę, promuje mobilność pracowników uczelni, stwarza uczelniom liczne możliwości udziału w projektach wraz z partnerami zagranicznymi.

Program Erasmus powstał w 1987 roku jako program wymiany studentów. Mimo że jego zasięg i cele poszerzały się w kolejnych latach, główna idea pozostaje ta sama: rozwijanie międzynarodowej współpracy między uczelniami. Nazwa Erasmus nawiązuje do imienia holenderskiego filozofa i teologa, humanisty, Erazma z Rotterdamu (1466-1536). Nie bez przyczyny Erazm, jak inni wybitni ludzie renesansu, kształcił się w wielu uczelniach w różnych krajach Europy, a jego poglądy na edukację przesycone były głębokim humanizmem.

About the University of Security in Poznan

The University of Security in Poznan is the leading provider of security related courses in Poland, with several thousand graduates since 2004 and a partnership network that includes private as well as public institutions such as the police, army, or NATO units. Currently, we have six branches countrywide and several thousand students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate courses. In addition to homeland security, we offer courses in management, education and psychology. We are a rapidly expanding institution, constantly looking for new opportunities on a national as well as global level. The University of Security in Poznan is strongly committed to two factors that are crucial in shaping the contemporary landscape of higher education in Europe and will most likely remain in focus in the foreseeable future. These factors are: the internationalization of higher education standards, including the curricula, grading systems and awards, as well as the mobility of students, academic staff and administrative staff.

Application Procedures

In order to become ERASMUS PLUS exchange student at University of Security in Poznan you will need to do the following:

  1. Step: contact the Erasmus Plus Coordinator at your home university and find out whether your university has a bilateral agreement with University of Security in Poznan.
  2. Step: Once you were nominated by your home university, send us the Learning Agreement for Studies signed by the representative of your university.
  3. Step: you will receive an Invitation Letter to study at the University of Poznan.

  • Winter Semester: 23rd September – 9th February
  • Study Period: 23rd September – 10th January
  • Exam Period: 13th January – 9th February
  • Deadline for application is 9th August
  • Summer Semester: 24th February – 27th June
  • Study Period: 24th February – 25th May
  • Exam Period: 26th May – 27th June
  • Deadline for application is 17th December

Visa:
Visa requirements depend on your citizenship. For some international students it is required to have a passport and student visa to enter Poland, while others only require a visa if they arrive in Poland with the intention of studying, even if they do not need one to cross the border.For information about the visa procedure for non EU citizens, please contact the Polish Consulate in your home country.

Health Insurance:
Provide a proof of Health Insurance valid for the whole duration of your stay (e.g. European Health Insurance Card). We advise you to apply for a European Health Insurance Card before you leave your home country.
